Peter saved the day! Extremely efficient! Reasonable price! I rarely leave reviews but am absolutely grateful for the efficient service and the reasonable price! Long story short, I broke the key mechanism while cleaning the keyboard. I went to another store, they not only couldn't solved it, they charge me $50 for having my laptop fixed in a day but then nothing was fixed after two days... AND my laptop screen has shadows after they tried to 'fix it'. After being scammed by that store I came to this one and Peter solved my problem in three seconds! He also cleaned the rest of the sticky keys and the whole keyboard in 10 mins without charging any extra fees! $65 in total! Extremely efficient! Thank you so much Peter! You're the best!

2 year old MacBook Pro died outta nowhere… lots of work and music and life stuff on the hard drives. Apple quoted $700 for a repair and said that all data would be wiped. My Mac book pro got damaged by water spill. Apple said is beyond repair and I need to get a new one. But I’m so glad I called this company. They repaired the water damage, replaced keyboard, replaced the battery, fixed one of the charging ports (that was not working from the day I bought it new) and all of that for a fraction of the price! I had my 2017 MacBook Pro screen fixed almost a week ago and I am still impressed with the quality of the screen replacement. With someone with a tight budget, I was hesitant to even get it fixed because Apple products are very costly without Apple Care. I have other places quote me either close to what Apple would charge or even higher. However, I was blessed to have Peter to be one of the first to reach out to my Yelp request and to quote me that is within my budget! If you are hesitant to have your computer fixed here because of the low reviews compare to what is out there, don't be. I was on the same boat but took a chance and was glad I went with San Diego Mac Repair. In the future, I will definitely come back and recommend all my friends to come through Peter!

Peter was very knowledgeable and trust worthy. He fixed my MacBook Pro overnight for less than 1/2 the price of what the Apple Store quoted me. The Apple Store in UTC even said they weren't sure my computer was fixable. Don't waste your time throwing your money away with Apple. Awesome service at a great value. San Diego Mac Repair fixed my Mac Pro laptop. We went to Apple store to get diagnosed and Apple states it will take $700-$800 to fix and it was an hardware issue. San Diego Mac Repair diagnosed and found it was a simple software issue and fixed it for 1/5 the price quoted from Apple. I would highly recommend this service!!

My daughter thought she lost all of the data on her iPhone. After being referred from Apple support and Apple Genius Bar to a 3rd party site with a $4000 quote to recover her phone data, we fortunately came across this company that was able to revive her iPhone in about an hour. I canNOT express our gratitude enough. The total out of pocket cost was less than $200. They were courteous, competent, and professional. 10/10

Wow! Above and beyond! I'm so jazzed about finding this gem off Miramar! Peter B, is fantastic- so chill but incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and fair. He gave me a straight up very reasonable quote and replaced the Fusion Drive in my 2012 iMac with a brand new 2TB SSD without any fuss. He even updated my machine's MacOS without me needing to ask! Saved me from having to buy a new iMac with a smaller screen for over $1,400. Everything was done well and on-time! I couldn't have asked for more! You can call some of the other third party Mac repair specialists in town too but make sure you talk to San Diego Mac Repair before deciding where to get your machine fixed!

After breaking the spacebar on my 2017 MacBook I got a quote from the Apple store for $600 because they said it required replacing the whole keyboard. I was so worried and called a bunch of places who said similar things but Peter was the only person who said ``yeah I can fix that let me just order the part``. I was so shocked and incredibly happy that he was able to fix it for me, and it took only 2 days and $85. On top of that this place is very responsive and sends you an email and text when everything is ready and a picture of the final repair too. I will be recommending this place to all my friends with tech troubles 🙂

SO HAPPY I WENT HERE! I was told by the Apple Genius Bar that in order to get my data retrieved from my MacAir 2020, it would have to be completely taken apart by a specialist. They could not help me. (Remind me again why I'm paying for Apple Care?) I then proceeded to call 3 different Mac computer repair specialists. I left messages, but no one got back to me. Fortunately I found San Diego Mac Repair. They were an hour away from me, but they had excellent reviews. I figured it'd be worth the drive if they could help me. Peter picked up the phone right away and talked with me, asking me detailed questions about my computer issues. I dropped off my MacAir the next day and he able to retrieve the data within 24 hrs of me bringing it in -all without taking apart my MacAir! What do you say to that Genius Bar? Very reasonable and excellent service. No wonder they have 5 stars!

I had attended a conference in Washington D.C. where someone bumped into me during one of the events, and they were carrying a glass of water. You guessed it; enough water splashed onto my open Macbook Pro that the screen went black, and then after two days, nothing on the response. I regularly back things up, so all would not be lost if it died, but I had six vital documents that were crucial to three organizations. I am a Professor and just became president of my professional association, I also serve as an expert witness in court, and two legal opinions were due in three days. I wasn't sure where to turn, so I looked for tech support with good reviews; I would give Peter and his team six stars if that were possible. One thing that I appreciate, admittedly in hindsight, is that Peter and his staff were calm and reassuring. It was obvious that they had seen problems like mine previously, and they gave me their estimates, which were quite reasonable. Like so many busy professionals, my time is perhaps my most precious resource, and those clients, students, colleagues, attorneys and judges who were waiting for my reports, grades, and affidavits weren't aware that I had a computer mishap thanks to the professionalism and quality craftsmanship that San Diego Mac Repair delivered. They treated me with care, kindness, grace, and compassion. I recommend them highly, and I am not easy to please.

So impressed with their work. I spilled coffee on my MacBook. The logic board and battery were damaged. I took it to two other places for repair and they both quoted me a crazy amount to fix my computer and almost a month wait. San Diego Mac Repair repaired it for a fraction of the other quotes and it was repaired within two days! The owner is professional, communicates well and was very easy to work with. I have my MacBook Pro 13`` 2019 model that got water damaged. It couldn't boot up after that cup of water spilled to the left side thunderbolt ports. Apple store only can do motherboard replacement but I need to recover the un-backup files. Refered to Micro Center, they couldn't do anything either. Tech Kahuna amazingly make this apple MacBook Pro boot again and run just like it had nothing happened to it. Thank you for the professional services. Great service. Very happy with the overall process and the repair service they provided. Got a Mac motherboard repair done from them. They did a proper diagnostic and then performed a quick repair. All the process was speedy efficient and communicative. In the final stage they conducted hardware tests and sent pictures of my Mac fully working. It was shipped back to me with return shipping charge covered under diagnostic. I had a remote repair done since they're on the other coast. Thanks
